I have converted to Medoism

I have a friend called Medo (doesn't everyone? Also it's pronounced Meadow but I make him roll his eyes by pronouncing it Meeeeedo). A fiercely intelligent Polymath, and the founder of:

Medoism is a family of beliefs and practices considered by all to be a 'philosophy on life' and is based on the teachings attributed to Medo, commonly known as "Medo" (the cool one), who was born in what is today known as Planet Earth. He lives and teaches there still.

Medoists recognize him as an awakened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient beings end their suffering by understanding the true nature of life, people, and the Universe. Through rationality, reason, and armed with scientific understanding he seeks to throw back the curtain of ignorance on this world, thereby escaping the cycle of bigotry and insularity, that is, achieving Nirvana. Among the methods various schools of Medoism apply towards this goal are: ethical conduct and altruistic behaviour, Open minded practices, study, and the cultivation of wisdom through the study of multiple sources and empirical evidence.

Medoism is broadly recognized as being obscenely and ridiculously stupendous.

Various sources put the number of Medoists in the world between 15 and 6 billion.
